Pit parking for the event will be at the Huntington Street & Pacific Coast Highway (PCH) Parking lot. This is dry camping only and the pits are 1st come, 1st serve. All teams camping with Motorhomes/RV's/Toy Haulers must register after parking with Dawn upon arrival. You will charged for each parking spot used (awnings count if extending into additonal spots). Camping fee's are set by the City of Huntington Beach and will be announced prior to the event. All parking is 1st come, 1st serve, if you want a racer to pit by you, please have him or her follow you in the pits when they open on Friday morning. Pits open on Friday at 8:00 am. You must see the Pit Manager prior to set up.
There is no host hotel for this event. Please google local hotels for best rate and or VRBO/AirBNB.
IJSBA WORLD FINALS QUALIFIER:
In order to qualify for the World Finals, you must sign up and race two events. This counts as 1 event.

Important Info for all Participants: Please read!!
PITS: The pits will be open on Friday morning at 8:00 am. This does not mean Wednesday or Thursday per the City of Huntington Beach. See pit parking information above under. No reservation needed. Everyone will need a parking pass and credentials to come & go through the gate once you have gone through registration (Friday) and on race days (Sat. & Sun).
Race Notes: All race pits take priority over non essential vehicles/motorhomes/RV's. Please do NOT spread out as you will be charged for every spot you take, per the City awnings included). Take only enough for your pit as you will be charged for each space taken and please be good neighbors to your fellow racers. Do not set up until cleared by the pit manager!!
Beach Area: Absolutely NO motorized vehicle traffic to and from the Huntington Street parking lot pits to the beach pits after 8:00 am on the beach. Motorized launch (cars/trucks/quads/etc.) must use the designated launch ramp area on the beach. Please do not park or set up your pit where you might block access to the beach. Extra pit vehicles will be permitted in Huntington Street parking lot but will pay a parking fee, per the City of Huntington Beach. Each entry and or boat will receive ONE (1) pit pass for their vehicle. All vehicles must display the proper parking pass (to be received at check-in/lateregistration). Vehicles without parking pass will NOT be allowed into the pits.
Fuel: All fuel must be stowed properly. A metal containment spill tray or tarp is required for fueling on the beach The City of Huntington Beach. All fuel barrel's and or fuel containers (ie: VP 5 gallon cans) must be removed by the owner at the end of the race weekend. You are limited to maximum of 2 - 5 gallon fuel jugs on the beach during race days. All fuel barrel's/containers will be marked and if left the participant will forfeit all points/prize money, etc. (take your fuel cans/barrel's with you, please don't leave them). All teams must have a current fire extinguisher (min. 10 bc).
Rider Check In: ALL racers/families/crew members must check-in on Friday starting at 10:30 am until 6:00 p.m. and or on Saturday morning at 6:00 a.m. to 7:30 a.m. If you've pre-registered you still must check-in, sign the waivers and receive your credentials & pay for parking. If you haven't you do so during the days/times stated. Please do not wait until registration is closing to either get registered or clear registration and get your credentials.
Prize Money: Pro Ski GP with 6 or more riders at a minimum there will be $2,500 guaranteed purse.
Pro Freeride with 6 or more there will be a guaranteed $2,500 purse.
Smoking & Alcohol: There is NO smoking or alcohol in the pits. Violation will result in immediate dq and exit of race site.
BBQ: Absolutely NO charcoal bbq's in the Huntington Street pit parking lot. Propane bbq are allowed. Charcoal bbq is allowed on the Huntington Beach fire rings on the sand.
Glass Bottles: Absolutely NO glass bottles are allowed in either the Huntington Street pit parking lot or on the beach. Plastic (solo) cup are encouraged.
Dogs: Absolutely no dogs are allowed on the sand. However, dogs are allowed in the Huntington Street pit parking lot but must be leashed.

Friday, May 1st, 2026
8:00 am - Pits open to all teams.
Note: Pits are 1st come, 1st serve.
All Motorhomes staying in the pits must register/pay upon arrival after parking. The City of Huntington Beach sets the parking fee's and will announce prior to the event.
10:30 am – 6:00 pm Racer Check-in, Registration at Best of the West Pop Up Tent area in parking lot pit area.
10:30 -- 6:00 pm - Safety Inspection - Adjacent to Registration area. All participants must be safety inspected prior to move in on beach pits.
2:30 P.M. - Mandatory meeting will all participants for move onto the beach pits.
3:00 pm - 5:30 pm - Move in to beach area pits. Note: all participants must follow Huntington Beach Lifeguards set path on the beach at 5 mph. No tandem riding quads, 3 wheelers. All participants must observe and be aware for pedestrians when crossing from pits onto beach pathway.

6:00 am - 7:30 am -- Safety Inspection: Adjacent to Registration area. All participants must be safety inspected prior to move in on beach pits.
7:00 -- 8:00 am - Move in from Huntington Street Pit Parking lot to Beach Pits. All teams must be moved in no later than 8:00 am.
8:00 am - 8:30 am Mandatory Riders Meeting (all riders must attend!!) - Lifeguard Tower on Beach.
8:30 am - 10:00 am Closed Course & Freeride Practice
10:00 am - 1:00 pm Closed Course Moto 1 & Freeride Round 1.
1:00 pm - 1:30 pm Intermission
1:30 pm – 5:00 pm Closed Course Moto 2 & Freeride Round 2
